The application process involves submitting necessary documents, undergoing medical exams, and security checks. After review, which may take 18-24 months, successful applicants and their families receive Permanent Resident status upon arrival in Canada.
Maintaining PR status requires residing in Canada for at least 730 days within five years. Costs include application fees and additional expenses for exams and translations.
